'Floozie in the Jacuzzi' joins the portfolio

Law firm Freeths asked for an additional Brummie landmark to be added to their 'Spirit of Birmingham' gallery in their new premises.  So I have added to the portfolio the 'Flooozie in the Jacuzzi'  - as she is fondly known.  The sculpture 'The River' created by Dhruva Mistry can be found in Victoria Square.

'Spirit of Birmingham' at Freeth's new premises in Colmore Plaza

Law firm Freeths have moved to new premises in Colmore Plaza.  I'm pictured here with managing partner Richard Beverly who commissioned 9 of my 'Spirit of Birmingham' prints to hang in the new office space.  The prints reflect past and present landmarks in our city -  familiar sights to all who live and work here.

I also had a little mention in the Birmingham Post.

'Concrete Nature'

Stamford Arts Centre, Lincolnshire

15th - 21st November 2015

This exhibition is planned to coincide with the annual symposium of New Networks for Naturethree days when scientists, writers, ecologists, poets, artists, filmmakers, and others who have a significant interest in the natural world, all meet at this venue and socialise in the gallery.

I have had three paintings selected for this exhbition, all from my Urban Bird series.  If you can make it to Stamford you will see squabbling crows, a wild collared dove finding sanctuary in a pigeon loft and chattering magpies livening up an urban park.
